About me

I'm Simon Harriyott, a .NET developer from Uckfield, Sussex, England. I've been a full-time developer since graduating in computer science in 1995. I've worked with C, C++, C#, ColdFusion, ASP, ASP.NET, XML, MFC, MSBuild, NUnit and various other little bits and pieces. I like writing software that's useful and usable.

I like hanging out with techies, so I like going to developer events, and organising geek dinners.

I'm a keen musician; I play drums, guitar, bass and sing. At the time of writing, I'm in 5 bands.

I'm married with two children.

I'm a Christian, and I'm part of a lively and friendly church.
