I'll be there, if only to attempt to correct your mis-pronunciation of "pro-ject". Further to this: As an erstwhile denizen of the North of England, where they all pronounce it like that, I feel I must share a theory I have about accents and dialects. I have noticed that there are a few similarities between words in broad Lancashire and the spellings to be found in Shakespeare. This leads me to conclude that Lancashire dialect, at least, is preserving much older pronunciations tyhat have now been replaced by BBC (or Estuary) English. This means that Lancashire dialect is in fact the basis for all spoken English. So any Lancashire pronunciation is therefore automatically correct. (I never ever make generalisations, but in this case, I'll make an exception.)
And I will in turn endeavour to educate you in the finer subtleties of basic logic: "therefore automatically correct" cannot be inferred from "a few similarities".And anyway, Shakespeare couldn't even spell hys owne nayme.
That was induction, not deduction.
I can't wait to come along to this one. I bet it's great fun!
